Formscan By Stuart Howden - MISS AUSTRALIE (2) was a good winner at Navan in late August and has done well on each of her three starts since. She just lost out when second to Arch Enemy over an extended mile and a half at Bellewstown last week, running on gamely after a sluggish start. Glittering Gem didn't land much of a blow on her handicap debut at Cork last time but could be suited by the step up in distance for this. The three-time winner Tatum would have a chance on her mid-summer form while Blissful Bonita might be another suited by this step up trip. Gallo De Cielo and Grann's Boy would certainly shake things up if they were to get in to the final line up as reserves.

He was bought to be a Galway festival horse and it's not too often you come to Galway and a plan comes together. He had a lovely run at Ballinrobe on his first run back and we train our horses for here - it is relief more than anything!. He is owned by a great 10-member syndicate (Street Wise Syndicate) from all over Ireland and our syndicates are supporting us well so this is a lovely place to be. his Galway run was over two miles where his owners wanted a runner, and things went wrong having made mistakes. He just wasn’t right after the race so we gave him time and he is back to himself. There’s no doubt the further he goes, the better he is and while he also was in the three-mile hurdle earlier this week, I felt he had too much weight for a young horse. He’ll stay three miles and is a big horse who will also jump a fence. He is a nice horse to have.
