I put a few off him as I didn't think he was 100 per cent fit coming here today. He's tough, he's genuine. He loves to get into a bit of a bumping match, he came alive. They are a great bunch of lads (Up The Blues Syndicate) and they follow him everywhere. They are lucky to get a horse like that and they appreciate him, they know how lucky they are to have him. He's a consistent horse and Keithen gets on well with him. He was mighty on him. He is lazy and idle and he was pushing and shoving him from a long way. Keithen is actually from Monasterevin so they all know each other, they are all neighbours and having good craic. He just keeps surprising us every day and we don't know how far he can go.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Heliogabalus, trained by Sean Byrne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
R.C. Colgan, rider of La La Lucrative, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls
C.D. Fahy, rider of Loaded Quiver (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action in the closing stages
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the top of the hill involving Albion Power, ridden by P
McGettigan, unplaced, and Mythical Rock, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fifth, where it appeared L.T. McAteer had to sit for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards advised H.Rogers, trainer of Marianne North, that a repeat performance from his charge who refused to race may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future
Adam Caffrey, rider of Marianne North, trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.
