She’s a lovely-bred filly, the family has been very lucky for me. We have trained Group winners of the family. She has been a late-maturing filly, a late-developing filly. We had waited for what we had hoped would be nice ease in the ground but, to be fair to Navan, it was safe ground. It was fast ground, but perfectly safe ground and I was happy to let her take her chance. She battled very well and very pleased with her. She got a little bit tired on her first run and I would anticipate plenty of improvement.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Talk Show Host, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly in the straight
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Ciunas, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran a little green
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving Marmeladova, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed second, Joyful Princess, ridden by S. Foley, placed third and Shamalza, ridden by C.D. Hayes placed first, where it appeared Joyful Princess ran tight for room momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
R.P. Whelan stated that his mount drifted left on top of the line. S. Foley stated that he had to take a slight check when Shamalza rolled into him. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount copped two cameraman and rolled slightly right
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
Furthermore following this enquiry the Raceday Stewards interviewed the two raceday photographers on the day, Mr. P. McCann and Mr S. Healy and reminded them of their obligations to follow the agreed protocol to be five metres from the rail.
For three years old and upwards fillies only, maidens at starting that are EBF eligible
