Formscan  - WEST HILL VERDE has improved with each run over hurdles, chasing home some useful rivals, and arrives following an encouraging third at Ascot. Despite a drop in trip, Seamus Mullins' gelding has a solid opportunity to shed the maiden tag. Hardly Surprising caught the eye at Bangor in November and has to be of interest, while Kiwi Rush was inconvenienced by stumbling badly at Cheltenham and is worth another chance.
