Formscan  - Sam and Jonathan England teamed up to win this race last year and appear to have solid claims this time around in the shape of ELLEON. He ran well enough on his first start since moving from Warren Greatrex when third a fortnight ago and that run looks sure to have put him spot on for this. Kildrum is another entitled to strip fitter after his respectable effort at Hexham last month and will appreciate this slightly sounder surface. Previous C&D winner Skyhill is also worthy of consideration.
