FormscanBy Gary Carson - INTERVENTION may be able to build on his debut showing here in late November. He showed up well then over course and distance when racing in behind the leaders and being produced to hit the lead over a furlong out. He couldn't quite maintain that in the closing stages, eventually finishing fourth, but that experience should stand to him now. Boundless Power also showed plenty of promise on his debut over five here a fortnight ago. He stuck on well enough to finish third to Big Gossey having been a touch keen in the early stages and again he's entitled to learn from the experience. Summit Rock was behind the selection here and has been well held since so needs to step up.
