Formscan By Alan Magee - VALIANT FORCE was a smart juvenile recording a 150/1 shock in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and also went close at the Breeders’ Cup. He’s gained all four subsequent wins at this venue, the latest of which came over this trip on his penultimate start. The selection finished a length and a half behind Little Queenie here in November but now enjoys a nice swing at the weights. Little Queenie has proved a real credit to connections winning eight times in sprint handicaps and typically showed great pace throughout when successful over 6f here last time. Kerdos won four times for Clive Cox and having been highly tried last year, is an interesting addition to the Stephen Thorne yard.
