Formscan By Michael Graham - PALLASATOR was a beaten favourite at Navan last month but compensation looms here. He went off 2/1 and 3/1f for his first pair of maiden hurdles at Naas and Navan respectively but didn't threaten the judge in fifth and fourth. After he won the John Shortt Legends Challenge Race at Punchestown in October, the post-race comments were that he jumps well and has done loads of schooling. This looks a good opportunity for this former Group Two winner on the Flat to get off the mark over hurdles. The form of Dunvegan's bumper victory at Faiyhouse was franked by runner-up Clinton Hill at Thurles last month. Dunvegan didn't feature in a Grade Two bumper at this track but it was won by Blackbow who is favourite for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. He has to be given plenty of respect on his first crack at hurdling. It was reported that Jetez never travelled on the ground at Thurles when pulled up in January. His placed form in maiden hurdles brings him into contention, though. Tara Dylan wasn't disgraced when tried in a Grade Two at Naas and should be well in the hunt for prize money.
