Formscan  - A wind operation and the switch to fences seems to have brought the best out of PURE CARBON. Harry Derham's charge was making only his second outing over the larger obstacles when returning the ready winner at Huntingdon recently and he remains of interest off a 6lb higher mark. Lightning Flash beat the selection at Chepstow last month and is not easily dismissed back over 2m, while Hypotenus drops in class with a shout on his return to the fray.
