Formscan By Michael Graham - WILLIAM DU BERLAIS makes each-way appeal at the foot of the weights. He put in a more than decent shift at this track earlier in the month when staying on to come home second to Consharon Boy. That was over three miles one but his last victory was over a similar trip to this in Downpatrick. He likes good ground and has won in Kilbeggan before. In fact he has only once been out of the first three in six visits here. First-time blinkers might eke out a bit more from him as well. Teacher's Pet knows how to win with six victories in her locker. She would prefer an ease in the ground but didn't run badly at all on good going when second to Asthuria in a mares' chase at Limerick last month. Cecil Corbett battled on well to prevail in Downpatrick Saturday week ago but could be vulnerable off his revised mark. Steel Wave jumped nimbly when winning his novice chase over course and distance. He has since finished fourth in a competitive race at Wexford. This is his handicap debut and he's entitled to be on the premises.
