Formscan - Good News would have a big say if he can bounce back to form after a distant fifth at Fontwell in May, having won nine times over hurdles and six of them came over three miles or further. He can go well off this mark but preference is still for the lightly-raced PINNACLE PEAK. A winner at Worcester on his return, he has been put up 4lb for that but this step up in trip may spark further improvement. The returning Chives has gone well fresh before and is another for the shortlist for a top stable.
