Formscan - MCFABULOUS has taken well to chasing and jumped particularly well when proving too strong for Thyme Hill and Mortlach, who both reoppose, at Newbury last month. His trainer has expressed the opinion that he believes the eight-year-old is better going right-handed and this appears to be the perfect opportunity for him to earn his first Grade 1 victory. Thyme Hill was the best of these over hurdles and had jumped fine on his chasing bow at Exeter. However, he was more ponderous at Newbury and will need to be sharper on this occasion. Gelino Bello, a stable companion of the selection, will need to step up plenty on what he has achieved to date over fences, while Galia Des Liteaux wouldn't be one to ignore following her chase debut success at Bangor.
