A son of first-season sire The Gurkha, he’s typical of a lot of Aidan O’Brien juveniles in that he’s progressing with racing and was ridden prominently before drawing clear from over a furlong out to score by five lengths on his latest start. Leopardstown maiden winner Vafortino had Eastern Voice well behind when the pair ran in the valuable Ballyhane Stakes, won by the selection’s stablemate Chief Little Hawk, at Naas recently.
