Formscan By Gary Carson - A tricky looking contest and last year's winner LUKE'S BENEFIT may be able to repeat the dose. After winning this last season he followed up at Navan and went up to a mark of 110 which he ran well off in a competitive event at Leopardstown. He's also performed with credit at Fairyhouse off this pound lower mark and looks fairly treated at this rating considering he's in an easier looking contest now. Denis Hogan's charge comes into this off the back of a good run over hurdles at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago and no doubt this has been marked out for him given his success here last year. Itsuptoyou ran a big race on his handicap debut at Punchestown when just giving way before the last and looks a danger having actually been dropped a pound for that run. Whats On The Menu returns to handicap company and if he can repeat the run that saw him finish third to Mount Benbulben in a novice chase he has to be a serious contender. Hidden Present looks like he needs further than this while Rakamasi needs to bounce back from his poor Thurles run.
