Formscan By Donal Murphy - Course form can often prove important at Tramore and considering TABAC BRUN won his bumper over the course in October he is worth siding with. The Liz Doyle trained gelding sprang a 25/1 surprise on that occasion and since put in two moderate efforts in a bumper at Down Royal and on his maiden hurdle debut at Clonmel last time out. Fairy Court was in front of him on that occasion but the selection can be expected to come on from his first start over hurdles and he should go close. Fairy Court and Moyas Charm are his biggest dangers. The latter is a first racecourse runner for trainer Liz Lalor and after running well at Clonmel last time out she can be expected to go close with Mark Enright taking a valuable five pounds off. Fairy Court on the other hand has been consistent since going over hurdles and another good performance can be expected from him.
