Formscan By Donal Murphy - After finishing second in a Grade 3 contest last time out, TED VEALE looks the one to side with. He beat Mumbo Jumbo (won at Leopardstown on Thursday) on his hurdling debut at Listowel but then ran way below par in the race won by Zuzka at Limerick when stepped up in trip to 2m 5f. Dropped back to 2m last time out he ran well to finish second to Sizing Rio (disappointed at Leopardstown on Thursday). Taking a drop in class and running over his ideal trip of 2m he looks the one to side with. The Willie Mullins trained Moveable Asset won on his sole start over hurdles over the course and distance last August. He has since been running on the level but returning to hurdles he should give a good account of himself with Paul Townend booked to ride. Carries Darling deserves respect after running well last time out at Wexford as does Starkie who won his maiden hurdle at Cork earlier this month.
