Eddie Cawley's charge has obviously had his issues but was a cosy winner both over fences and hurdles last autumn and if he returns in the same form, there could be another win in him despite running off a 10lb higher mark than when last successful over fences at Sligo. Lord Lariat ran a big race at Punchestown 10 days ago when a slight mistake at the last didn't help. He's entitled to be a big player but looked to have a tough enough race last time. Russian Bill ran a solid race in novice company last time and off a 2lb lower mark back in a handicap is another to consider.
