Going - Round: Good to Yielding Straight: Good To Yielding, yielding places. Overcast and showery

Formscan By Donal Murphy - TOUGH TALK gets the nod over Blackbeard. The Ger Lyons trained selection put in a professional performance to win on debut over the course and distance last month and he is likely to improve for the experience. He beat Little Big Bear and Shartash in that early season maiden and they have both given the form a significant boost by winning in the interim. Blackbeard is two from two, just getting the better of Crispy Cat in the First Flier Stakes on his most recent start. He is upped in trip to six furlongs here and will be well-fancied to maintain his unbeaten record. Deneuve is the sole filly in the line-up and is the apparent Ballydoyle second-string with Seamie Heffernan aboard. The form of her debut win at Naas hasn't worked out too well, with the second and third well-beaten last weekend. Mehmar was a good second of four on debut but will need to take a significant step forward to win this.
