Formscan By Michael Graham - KAPTAIN BAY has had four spins over hurdles which have yielded two placed finishes in Ballinrobe. He was last seen coming home fifth in a big field at Punchestown and that form is working out well. Janes Harbour returns to action after finishing third at Cork in October and at Down Royal in November. She doesn't look badly weighted, however, slower ground is an unknown for her. Chortal looks the pick of Gordon Elliott's pair of horses based on jockey bookings, while Maxios Prime was running a vastly-improved race in second when departing at the final flight in Down Royal. Top-weight Butter Fingers isn't out of it, but his best form is on better ground.
