jumping off at the start I had to give him a shake but in fairness to him, he got into a great rhythm and his jumping was so good. He fell asleep over the final three fences and was just doing enough but once I gave him a few reminders, he opened up well to the line. He is a fine big horse who we’ve always thought plenty of and he has put two wins back-to-back now. This will do his confidence the world of good and while he stays really well, is a classy stayer who also quickens up well. I only stuck him in the race at 11.50 the other morning when I saw the very small entry. I thought the trip was a bit short for him, but he was very tough.
