Formscan By Gary Carson - BYE BYE BIRDIE was just edged out of things on her debut at Naas and given that the yard's horses often show significant improvement from their first runs she should prove hard to beat now. The form of that run looks strong as the winner had a couple of decent placed efforts previously and the pair pulled nicely clear of the third then. The David Wachman-trained Tap Dancing was the gambled favourite in that race at Naas but failed to make an impression in fifth. She's obviously showing something at home and may be capable of better. Aidan O'Brien also saddles well-bred Galileo filly Prehaps and the daughter of listed winner Anna Karenina looks one to note for the future. The pick of the other newcomers are the Dermot Weld trained Flying Jib, a daughter of US Grade 2 winner Jibboom, and Kevin Prendergast's J'aime, a half-sister to Cheveley Park winner Lightening Pearl.
