Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Robert Tyner was back racing at Gowran on Thyestes Day, for the first time since a fall from a young horse at home left him nursing multiple injuries. I tipped up Dundeedy Lad then, to provide him with a welcome tonic. It wasn't to be for that Kapgarde gelding in the very demanding conditions at the County Kilkenny venue, and he could manage no better than ninth place – beaten nearly a hundred lengths. Anyway, it's hard to knock any horse for under-performing in such circumstances, and the Shippool handler should fare better here with his dual representation. With Mark Walsh on CONCORDIN, he's preferred to the other Tyner/J P McManus runner, Fairly Legal. Several others hold chances in an open enough looking heat.
