Formscan By Michael Graham - Fame And Glory gelding METICULOUS could be a shade of value against the odds-on-favourite Mt Leinster. After Meticulous ran away with a Killarney bumper by nine lengths in July, his trainer Joseph O'Brien said that he had been working nicely and would have no trouble winning a Flat race. This decent ground will suit his speed well. In addition, Tom Hamilton's 5lb claim is more than handy in what looks a match against Mt Leinster. The latter, who sports a first-time hood, impressively won a bumper on soft to heavy ground at Ballinrobe by 22 lengths in September. He was then put in his place by Malone Road in Punchestown but, considering how highly thought of that winner is, it certainly wasn't a bad effort. He should be bang in contention.
