Formscan  - Valiancy brings plenty of potential to this handicap debut but while respected, preference is for MANY MEN. The selection chased home the subsequent King George V winner Merchant when third at York in May before stepping up in trip to great effect at Doncaster next time. The Study Of Man gelding should have more to offer over these staying trips, and he can go in again from 5lb higher. Novelista was only beaten a head by the selection that day and is likely to give another good account of himself.
