Formscan By Alan Magee - ONLY BY NIGHT has taken really well to fences and has jumped fluently in scoring at Tipperary and again when comfortably beating Nara in a Grade 2 at Cork last month. Both of those wins came over 2m but the point-to-point winner shouldn’t be inconvenienced by this step up in trip. Spindleberry was probably the pick of these over hurdles, notably her second to Jade De Grugy in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse, and the winning pointer made a successful transition to fences despite jumping noticeably right over a similar distance at Cork. Judicieuse Allen had A Penny A Hundred back in fourth when recording her second chase win over this trip at Fairyhouse.
