Formscan By Tom Weekes - POSEIDON is back under Charles Byrnes' tutelage and can be relied upon under Sean O'Keeffe at a local festival, following two good runs. A capable hurdler, POSEIDON's two recent chase runs were encouraging, has ground and trip in his favour and receives 10lbs from top weight Grange Walk. Grange Walk was a winner at Sligo on Wednesday and while he has obvious claims on suitable trip and ground, isn't helped by his double-penalty. Gevrey won a maiden hurdle in November and while placed at the Punchestown festival in April, was a little disappointing at Downpatrick and makes his chase debut. Stablemate Coach Carter won his maiden hurdle last March but disappointed on his last start and runs in a first-time hood on chase debut. Mattie's Mountain progressed very well last winter and being a big chasing type, could figure on chase debut at his local track. Slige Dala is capable but would ideally prefer a little further and makes his chase debut.
