Formscan By Tom Weekes - CAPTAIN KANGAROO beat Kilcruit to win on debut in 2020 and while frustrating since, has run solid races in defeat and was a mid-field finisher in the County Hurdle last March. He was recently tried at staying trips and while held when blundering at the last at Galway, ran a solid race under a big weight and today's race is winneable. Wall Of Fame showed useful staying ability in point-to-points and over hurdles before winning a 2m1f March bumper. This race is likely to have been a target for some weeks but he concedes race-fitness. Lanziano is race-fit and while he showed improvement when narrowly touched off at 250/1 at Kilbeggan in August (Flurry Yeats was fourth), needs to progress further. Bout Time Bobby is progressive and can improve further stepping to this trip while Moakland represents an in-form yard and has place claims. Aikenbreakinheart runs in a first-time tongue-tie having disappointed in a bumper and is likely to be better suited by this trip.
