He signed off last year with a win at Newmarket in the Challenge Stakes (Group 2) at Newmarket in early October over 1400m by an easy 5L. He is preferred over LAKE FOREST (5), who won at Rosehill in Australia on his last start in early November. BEAUVATIER (3) is a classy operator and has won over track and trip before.
