Formscan By Alan Magee - Flemenstar started a brilliant sequence of victories in this event 12 months ago, and there are a number of very interesting contenders in the line-up again. ALDERWOOD completed a rare Festival treble last spring with his County Hurdle win supplemented by Graded race success at Fairyhouse and Punchestown. The latter was at Grade 1 level, and the progressive gelding also handles all types of ground. Sword Of Destiny and Darwins Fox head the list of rivals and both have valuable experience over fences. The Noel Meade-trained gelding would probably have won at Punchestown last month but for a mistake at the last, while Darwins Fox was unlucky to come up against the useful Oscars Well at the same venue.
