FormscanBy Michael Graham - ECHO PARK really relished the step up to an extended mile and a half in Sligo and could follow up. She kept on strongly to take that contest in Connacht by five and a half lengths. The handicapper was suitably impressed to hike her up 10lbs but she could be progressive enough to defy him. It is worth noting that in June she was two and a half lengths off Kalaxana in a fillies' maiden at Gowran Park. Kalaxana has since won the Ulster Oaks, a Listed race in Roscommon and was second in a Group Two at Cork this month. Echo Park's stablemate Rovetta showed her toughness with two wins at the Galway Festival and has to come into the reckoning with Shane Crosse claiming 7lbs. The likeable and tough Dawn Hoofer has maintained her form throughout the summer brilliantly. She has had nine races since June and clocked up four victories and four places. She has won over this trip and the handicapper may not have got to grips with her yet. Lightly-raced Julienne is up in trip after shedding her maiden tag in Tipperary. She is well worth keeping an eye on in the market in her first handicap.
