FormscanBy Michael Graham - MONA BELL could be an each-way play. She started her career off with a sixth place in what has turned out to be a very hot race over course and distance last August. She then made a satisfactory seasonal reapperance when third at Cork in June. There should be improvement forthcoming from that run. Al Batal and Ajmera are closely matched on their second and third places respectively in a maiden at this track earlier in the month. They are both rated 68, though, which leaves them vulnerable. Tintoretto is well worth watching in the market after a couple of third places last season. She had some decent horses in front of her and looks a threat in this company with Colin Keane booked. The absence since October is a concern, however, and she is likely to come on plenty for this outing. Venetian Rock, with a Group Three entry, could be lively on debut for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning. Lost Treasure was seventh on debut at Naas in October and this War Front colt could show more today, particularly as he holds a Group Three entry for next month.
