Formscan By Alan Magee - The score is 1-1 between BLOOD DESTINY and Spillane’s Tower over fences this season with the latter having come out on top over just short of 2m4f in a Grade 3 at Punchestown but the places were decisively reversed over two miles at Navan earlier this month. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding appreciated a more patient ride at Navan and despite a 7lb swing at the weights and the longer trip, is fancied to again come out on top. Stablemate Tactical Move beat Saint Felicien over this distance at Gowran, although it’s interesting that Jack Kennedy rides the latter in favour of Zanahiyr, the pick of these over hurdles and a creditable fourth in the Turners Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham.
