Formscan By Gary Carson - MY MATE MOZZIE was very impressive when making a winning start over hurdles at Punchestown last month and can handle this step up in class now. The Born To Sea gelding beat a smart Flat performer in Barbados on his jumping debut and looks an exciting novice for the season ahead. Gordon Elliott saddles two in the colours of Caldwell Construction and Chemical Energy would appear to be his main hope. The Well Chosen gelding was a dual bumper winner last season before facing tough tasks in top company at Leopardstown and Cheltenham. He also got off the mark over timber with ease here in September. That came over half a mile further and it will be interesting to see if he has the gears for the minimum trip now, upped in class. San Salvador was still in front when falling at the last in a Grade 3 contest at Tipperary last time and is another that commands respect.
