Formscan By Gary Carson - HUNTERS YARN was slightly disappointing when a leading fancy for the County Hurdle at Cheltenham but can bounce back to winning ways here. The Fame And Glory gelding failed to make much impression last month when held up out the back but wasn't disgraced in finishing mid-division. He had been a good winner at Navan prior to that and a repeat of that comprehensive defeat of Imagine would make him the one to beat. American Mike hasn't lived up to his bumper form this season and was beaten favourite when fourth to Hunters Yarn at Navan. He was well beaten in the Ballymore at Cheltenham but could be a danger here if recapturing some form. The consistent Nucky Johnson has a bit to find at the weights with the selection but comes here in fine form and it wouldn't be a surprise if he ran a big race.
