The grey ran a cracker when third to stablemate Fil Dor in the Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran in February and was a lively outsider going to the Supreme Novices last month. Stablemate The Gunner Yeats was a wide margin winner at Thurles last month and that form got a boost the other day with the runner-up Feu Du Bresil scoring at Clonmel. Connections have had to be patient with the %A3310,000 purchase and it will be interesting to see how he fares up in class now.
