Formscan By Tom Weekes - This race is muddled by the fact that Fickle Fortune is declared to run on Saturday and, were she to contest this, would have to take beating. With her presence possibly not confirmed, STARKIE may prove best of the rest. He is a bumper winner and contested a hot maiden latest and ran reasonably well. That run will stand to him and he is also helped by there being no bumper penalties here. Shamar was easy to back before disappointing on his Irish debut last season and has lots to prove while Way Up In The Air was a decent bumper sort who has place claims on her hurdle debut. Strategic Bid is quite head-strong and is best watched.
