Dropping back from 1m2f looks like a good move and he is narrowly preferred to the top-rated Galen, who landed a Group 3 at the Curragh in April and since finished a fine second in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot. Expanded has yet to rediscover his two-year-old form, which saw him narrowly denied in the Dewhurst, while Snellen looks to build upon an excellent second in the Kensington Palace.
