Formscan By Michael Graham - Both Rippon Lodge and Jack Holiday are capable of front-running, so this could be set up for CIANKYLE to to creep into contention. He arrives in good form after a victory in a handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe in early September. That form has been franked and he will appreciate the forecast rain. He looks well worth a switch to fences in what isn't a strong race. The aforementioned pair will have their supporters, particularly Jack Holiday who lost out by a nose in his last handicap chase in Tramore. Although he is by Jeremy, he hasn't shown a fondness for rain-softened ground to date. Captain Cobajay's recent form doesn't stand up to scrutiny but trainer Dusty Sheehy and jockey Simon Torrens are in good form, so he could perform better.
