Formscan By Alan Magee - This looks set to be a match between Zaidpour and BOG WARRIOR with preference for the latter. The Tony Martin-trained gelding looked a superstar early last season when routing the opposition in the Drinmore Chase at Fairyhouse but then lost his way over fences following a heavy fall at Leopardstown. A return to hurdling has achieved the desired effect of regaining confidence, and he really impressed with a decisive defeat of Solwhit at Punchestown earlier this month. Like Bog Warrior, Zaidpour handles the current testing conditions very well and is bidding to land this prize for the second successive year. He ran well over this trip at Leopardstown last time but it was a shade disappointing that he was unable to confirm previous Fairyhouse placings with Monksland, and he must also give the selection a vital 4lb here.
