Formscan By Alan Magee - SOME NECK has taken well to cross country racing since joining John McConnell last year and needed every yard of the 3m6f trip when successful at Cheltenham in December. He was no match for Tiger Roll last month but there is no disgrace in that and had Alpha Des Obeaux a length and a half behind when a gallant third. Ballyboker Bridge won the last running of this stamina test, the longest race on the Irish racing calendar, in 2019. The 14-year-old veteran had the selection four lengths behind when runner-up here earlier this season and it’s best to but a line through his latest start having never travelled after clipping heels soon after the start. Enda Bolger is bidding to win this race for the fifteenth time and is represented by useful hunter chaser Stand Up And Fight and Blue Templar. The latter won twice over the banks in 2019 and was noted finishing well at Cork earlier this month. Singing Banjo won over the banks on Tuesday and could take a hand if turning out again.
