Formscan By Donal Murphy - After a highly encouraging effort on debut over fences last time out, MAKE A TRACK looks the one to side with here. The Charlie Swan trained gelding was a decent performer over hurdles and he ran a cracker on his first start over fences earlier this month to finish just a length behind Texas Jack. He had smart performers behind him on that occasion and he should prove hard to beat here. Vesper Bell showed a high level of form over hurdles last season which culminated with him finishing second in a Grade 1 hurdle at the Punchestown Festival. He makes his chasing debut here but is sure to be well schooled and will give the selection most to do. Any money for Canaly, Stony Grey Soil or Sword Fish would be interesting as they all have the ability to go close.
