Formscan By Donal Murphy - STEADY ED sprang a surprise in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time out but the manner of that victory suggests he should be more that capable of winning this. After that Limerick success his trainer John Joe Walsh said: "He loved that ground and he won his point-to-point on it. He is a big galloping horse who jumps and stays. He will go back handicap chasing now. He is 18 hands high and we had to give him time to mature." His form before his win was poor but perhaps he has now turned a corner and he is selected to win this average contest. The Jimmy Mangan trained Annacarton has been performing well of late and with Jane Mangan taking a valuable seven pounds off he should run well. Others of note are Dunroe Boy, Shellys Creek and What's In Front who all have each-way claims.
