Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - From a punting perspective you'd have to approach this with more than a degree of trepidation. Cadspeed was a big let down, at Thurles, at the beginning of the year, following on from his unlucky fall over this course on December 6th. Now he has another 'free-goer' in opposition, in the shape of Page Turner. He mightn't be completely straight-forward but he has plenty of talent, and you could see that Bishop Of Cashel gelding stay going better than Cadspeed, if the pair were to take each other on from early. Maybe the expensive to follow SAVELLO (with a hood on for the first time) will up his game in the spring and with a rating of 127 he's officially assessed as being 2Ibs superior to Cadspeed. For me this is a minimum stakes race but surely Savello can make his presence felt in this sort of company. Indeed at more attractive sorts of prices, it would hardly be any great surprise were the likes of Raggletagglegypsy, Schindler's Pearl or Twentypoundluck (has the excellent James Reveley up) to make the frame. Like Savello, King Vuvuzela is also equipped with a hood now and he could step-up on recent form.
