Third of 18 in a competitive affair at the Dublin Racing Festival on her penultimate start, it'll be disappointing if she's not involved towards the business end here, with Patrick McGettigan claiming a valuable 5lb. A comfortable winner at the Curragh last May, Robbies Rock warrants the utmost respect on his return, while others for the shortlist are Granite Bay, Holy See and Star Harbour.

He's lazy and it was totally an inadequate trip for him,. We had him in Chester at the weekend, but the ground went against him for that Listed race. We threw him into this race when it was small entries, it was a bit of an afterthought. The conditions suited, but we knew it was a bit short. Adam got after him early doors and he gave him a good ride. He just got there and it's great for the lads, he's been a great money-spinner for them. He wasn't a cheap horse when we bought him, but the fun they've got out of him has been unreal. That's his third win of the year and he had a very good run the last day at Dundalk carrying a lot of weight. He'll probably go back for the Diamond Stakes there in two weeks time. We might give him a break after that. We've threatened to run him over hurdles a couple of times - we pulled him out at Down Royal because of the ground, but at some stage he will make another appearance over hurdles. it was a great win as it was a competitive race. Ronan said he was struggling on the ground but said he once he came alive coming down the back, he was reasonably confident he would run a big one. We knew all along that he was a staying horse in the making although I didn't think it would happen in his three-year-old career. He is progressing with every run having been very babyish earlier in the year and we'll look for another race before the season ends as he has proven he goes on easy ground. He's a very big, raw horse and hopefully there is a bit of improvement there. For a horse that has had a few runs, he's still fairly raw but he went to the line well. The rail was a help to him. He's never made a noise at home or anything like that but what he did do, the last day in Killarney over hurdles, he made a mistake at the first and just kind of held his breath. His other half-brother (Athlumney Warrior) won for Michael O’Callaghan on the all-weather. It’s a good family and has been lucky for us.
