Formscan By Gary Carson - ELIXIR D'AINAY has to overcome a long absence but this looks a nice race for him on his comeback. The Muhtathir gelding showed a nice level of ability as a novice hurdler a few years ago was last seen falling in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle in 2020 when upsides at the second last flight in a race won by Shishkin. Obviously it remains to be seen what level of ability he retains but fitness is unlikely to be an issue. Stablemate Micro Manage is a smart horse on the Flat and has some decent hurdles form without really transferring that ability to jumps. He also has an absence to overcome. Tactical Affair has fitness on his side, having won narrowly at Cork 16 days ago, and is open to further improvement.
