The Arctic Cosmos gelding showed smart placed form in bumpers last season including behind Slade Steel at this venue before winning easily on testing ground at Cork. The selection wound up the campaign by beating all bar Florida Dreams in a 20-runner Grade 2 at Aintree. Rainbow Trail was purchased for 220,000 at Cheltenham just after going close on his only point-to-point start last December and made a successful start under Rules when taking a bumper at Clonmel last month. Killaney King is another interesting contender having easily won his only point start for Pat Doyle at Rathcannon last year, while Beau Walking has the benefit of hurdle experience with two placed efforts this autumn. Willie Mullins also saddles Chosen Witness who easily won a Limerick bumper last Christmas but disappointed on his hurdle debut at Naas.
