The Roger McGrath trained 6yo ran a cracker on her last at Down Royal when finishing a length second to Top Madam in a Grade 3 Mares Novice Hurdle. She had the smart duo of Missunited and Mulleady behind her on that occasion and if she can reproduce that performance she will prove hard to beat. Reine Angevine impressed when winning on her second start over hurdles at Gowran last time out and she will give the selection most to do. Ruby Walsh is booked to ride that one, his only ride on the card. Somedaysomehow and Spring Hawk are decent mares but on form to date they should find the aforementioned duo a bit too strong. Carrigeen Kigelia is an interesting runner for the Lalor family. The daughter of Presenting won on her sole point-to-point start in May but she will have to be fairly useful if she is to win this contest on her racecourse debut.
