FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - I tipped up KAGNEY prior to his intended engagement at Wexford on May 23rd. He had to miss out then owing to a change in the going at Bettyville, but he's got a good course and distance run to his name here on his most recent attempt, and he seems destined to build on that. I was in Ballinrobe during the week and it was notable to see Noel Meade's horses looking so well in the glorious sunshine. The Tu Va maestro had two winners at the County Mayo venue with Niven and Art Of Security taking out a couple of hurdle races, and the stable's The Caddy Rose finished second in a bumper. Others you'd be looking towards are Capital Force, Hardback, Jaime Sommers and Pravalaguna.
