Formscan By John O'Riordan - WILL THE WISE can register a first win over fences. A distant second at Killarney in May, the Gavin Cromwell-trained gelding had previously shaped with promise when fifth over an inadequate trip on his chasing debut. With the benefit of that experience, the six-year-old should prove difficult to beat. A former point-to-point winner, he has the potential to make up into a decent novice this term. A three-time winner over hurdles, Ol Man Dingle also gives the impression he could prove to be a better chaser. Runner-up on his only point-to-point run, the Eoin Griffin-trained gelding has to be of interest. Fourth here on his chasing debut, More Coko is entitled to progress.
