Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Last time out winner BE LIKE THE BIRD might go in again. One of two representatives for Denis Hogan here, the Dandy Man filly begins for the County Tipperary handler now, having been purchased out of a claimer ‘at the junction’ on August 29th. On that occasion the chestnut broke well, and she raced in touch on the inner. Fifth at the halfway stage, Be Like The Bird was switched left under two furlongs out. She closed over a furlong out, and strongly challenged in the final hundred and fifty yards. Ridden to lead in the closing stages, the selection kept on, all out at the line to just hold Bellsinthewood by a nose. The former John Oxx runner (with first-time cheek-pieces on) is given the nod from Cobb And Co, Dolce Sicily, Vormir and Urban Boom.
